TEMECULA, CA – Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center, in partnership with The Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce, is proud to offer the Patricia Deroeux Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to two individuals within the city of Temecula who are full-time students and in need of financial assistance due to the death of a parent because of cancer.

The Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce fondly remembers the impactful presence and generous spirit of Patricia “Pattie” Deroeux, who served as a beloved staff member for many years. Unfortunately, Pattie was diagnosed with cancer in December 2002 and succumbed to her illness in May 2003; however, her memory lives on through this scholarship program with Michelle’s Place. The Chamber is honored to keep her kindhearted legacy alive in such a meaningful and impactful way.

This scholarship is an opportunity for students who have faced great tragedy to focus on continuing their education and achieving their goals. The community is encouraged to apply and/or share this opportunity with individuals who could benefit from this scholarship.
