Today, she manages a team of professional utility planners, driving strategic initiatives that have positioned UDS as a leader in the field. Her commitment to excellence and her ability to inspire her team have been instrumental in the department’s success.

Our commitment to innovation is further exemplified by Grace Herrera, a T.O.P. and FAA-certified UAS Pilot. Grace’s expertise is critical to our operations, as she travels across our service territory working closely with Land Survey crews. Her work in obtaining valuable aerial data and photogrammetry ensures that UDS remains at the cutting edge of technology. Grace’s contributions have not only enhanced our capabilities but also expanded the services we can offer to our clients.

At UDS, leadership takes many forms, and Meagan Delao embodies this through her role as manager of our utility mapping research department. Meagan’s analytical skills and attention to detail are key to our success in providing accurate and reliable mapping services. Her work is foundational to many of the projects we undertake, and her leadership within the department ensures that we consistently deliver high-quality results.

Another pillar of our team is Sonia Jimenez, a senior CAD drafter who has been with UDS for 13 years. Sonia’s longevity with the company is a testament to her dedication and expertise. Her deep knowledge of CAD drafting has made her an invaluable resource, and her contributions have been critical to the successful completion of numerous projects. Sonia’s experience and commitment continue to inspire her colleagues and set a high standard for excellence.

Safety is at the core of everything we do at UDS, and Dee Dee Schaefer-Robinson plays a vital role in maintaining our high standards. Dee Dee works in the field alongside our land survey crews and leads our in-field safety program. Her leadership ensures that our teams operate safely and efficiently, even in the most challenging environments. Dee Dee’s dedication to safety is a reflection of our company’s commitment to the well-being of our employees and clients.

At the helm of our sister company, UDS Planning, are owners Gina Magdaleno and Jennifer Dierbeck.
